Specialises in both Hot and Cold Insulation

Loonglobal does two types of insulations which are Acoustical and hot and cold Thermal Insulations. Acoustical Insulations are mainly for soundproofing noise generators. Some of the materials used for Acoustical Insulations are Open Cell Rubber foam from brands like Armaflex and K-Flex, melamine foam, and mineral wool.

Some of the functions of thermal insulation is to help conserve energy by reducing heat loss or gain and prevent vapor flow and water condensation on cold surfaces. In hot insulation, two of the materials generally used are Calcium Silicate boards and Elastomeric Rubber Foam. For cold insulation, closed-cell structure is needed to help avoid wicking. Some of the materials used are Cellular Glass and Aerogel. Vapour Barrier Systems are used to help slow down the passage of moisture vapour from one side of its surface to the other.
